Learn how to get rid of spam with games and applications from Facebook

Facebook, as you probably know, is full of irrelevant posts and possibly irritating. You can lose them by careful choice of friends that subscribe, but what about unsolicited invitations? Games and applications such as “Gone Fishing”, “Pillow Fight” or other sinister creations like “Friend Hug” merely to push your brain on a smooth and steep road that leads to a “dead end” early.
To get rid of spam with these invitations, you must change some settings under “Privacy Settings” (privacy).
The “Privacy Settings” can be accessed from the “Arrow”, located immediately right of the “Home” (see image below).
Jump on to the sub menu “Block people and apps” and choose “Manage Blocking”.

Go to page section “Block Invites app” and add the friends list that bug you with applications and games that you consider spam.
For your peace, I recommend you block all the friends list, even if something requires more time and effort. So you sure that you will not receive any spam games and applications.
You should not worry that you miss something important because if you want to come back on an action you always will have the “Unblock” button. If games and applications are not the problem but invitations to events, add your friends in the “Block Event Invites”.
Well, if you do not put friends on the blacklist but applications themselves, go to the “Block apps” and type names of applications that don’t want to hear about. For these two cases we have “Unblock” button.
Now, I’m sure some find it exaggerated my recommendation about blocking all friends. But, seriously now, wherever you happened to get a recommendation really useful? Personally, never. If you are interested in a particular application, one can find one. This tutorial is dedicated to all those who want a cleaner Facebook, with relevant information, not with garbage.
