How to transfer files between computer and mobile device using bluetooth

bluetooth_dongle
What is Bluetooth? How can I have it on my computer?
Bluetooth wireless technology is a communication technology that allows two devices to communicate wirelessly. Most of the notebooks are nowadays equipped with bluetooth. For those notebooks or computers that don’t, you can use a bluetooth dongle to add the functionality and it just costs you around $5. Although higher price range bluetooth dongles are available but it makes no sense of buying them if you just plan to connect your mobile device to the computer. Look for one that has Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR (Enhance Data Rate) supporting speeds of upto 3Mbps and with Vista support. You can easily have one of that kind in just $5.

Microsoft wants to streamline multimedia playback on Windows 8

The changes will bring Windows 8 will be only at the interface. Those from Microsoft tell us that their engineers have worked to optimize playback of multimedia content in Windows 8. They wanted to maximize system performance, providing a series of simplified platform for developers and to consider as many possible scenarios for playing multimedia content.
In a rather long, that I find the source, Microsoft describes at length the improvements brought to this chapter Windows 8. Among others, we learn that we tried when making optimization of audio playback. Using a larger audio buffer and thus a larger amount of data processed at some point, the processor may stay idle longer. Differences are not great, but if we think of mobile devices will run Windows 8, every ounce of energy matters.

Dedicated hardware video decoding is another priority for Windows 8. Microsoft says that a certificate for the new PC operating system, video decoding processor can load two to three times less than in Windows 7. We do not know how the tests were carried out in the picture below, but this scenario is possible and currently the codec and video card right.
Media Foundation platform in Windows 8 will support streaming with adaptive bitrate. We all know what a clip that loads very hard because we choose to start a good quality image. Starting time of playback and search during playback can be reduced using a low bitrate for a short period. This technology will be implemented in particular in specific applications interface Metro. More details about multimedia platform implemented in Windows 8 found in the source link.

Upgrade to Windows 8 Pro, cheaper than expected

Microsoft has announced plans to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro, available for Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Those who choose to download Windows 8 Pro Internet will pay 39.99 euros, while the DVD will cost 69.99 Euro. The upgrade can be installed on systems running Windows XP/Vista/7 original.

The upgrade prices are significantly lower than those set out in the transition from XP to Windows 7, namely: 49 Euro for version respectively EUR 99 for DVD.
The offer will be valid from the date of release (estimated to be in October this year) and will last until January 1, 2013. Those who buy a new PC with Windows 7 and upgrade to Windows 8, will pay even less: 15 Euros.

Windows 8 launch has been officially confirmed for October

During the conference Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, whose opening was held last evening in Toronto, Canada, corporate vice president and CFO Tami Reller announced that future Windows 8 will reach the stage of Release to manufacturing (RTM) to early August, respecting such promise two months ago.

If integrators will have access to Windows 8 since August, users will find it somewhere on the shelves by the end of October. This release date, which was first mentioned by Bloomberg in March, was not yet officially confirmed by Microsoft.

Those who have tested or Consumer version Developer Preview Preview and are sufficiently interested in new options and new Metro interface can now be quiet: operating system came in and went straight to secure release.

Office 2013 – new features

Microsoft introduced the first information about Office 2013, new version of office suite that borrows many design elements of Windows 8 and introduces a new concept for use in cloud, but the possibility of using touch gestures.
Microsoft Office is the leader of office-type software for desktop, rivals such as the use OpenOffice rather than productivity due gratuity offered. But recent years have shown that traditional software moves slightly, but surely, the cloud, and sales of touchscreen devices such as smartphones and tablets soaring.
These are reasons why Microsoft is a major focus on cloud technologies and touch the future Office 2013, which was introduced in version Customer Preview before launch scheduled for early next year.
Office 2013 – same settings on any device
Office 2013 is highly integrated with SkyDrive cloud service from Microsoft, so you can easily save all documents for quick access from any device connected to the Internet.
This option was available in Office 2010 but Office 2013 introduces a new concept, far more interesting with a subscription to Office 365, you have access to Office 2013 from any device with Internet connection, whether on that device you install Office 2013 or not, and application settings are identical on all gadgets, because they are run in the cloud. In addition, documents can easily be edited on the PC and on tablets and smartphones.
Microsoft designed Office 2013 for users of tablets too, witch is why I’m not surprise by extensive support for touch gestures. Enabling this option will give rise to larger buttons for performing a tap to be as easy. Gestures can be used both to navigate the document and to introduce the actual data, but it remains to be seen how practical it will be this way.
All applications included in Office 2013 suite are significantly cleaner interface, inspired by the universe Metro on Windows 8. Famous Ribbon is now more intuitive, but in times when you do not need it you can hide a single click, to win workspace, and it will be seen especially on screens smaller tablets.
None of the applications has not changed a lot, but each includes some cool features that will be appreciated by many users.

Better 2D and 3D graphics in Windows 8

A new week means a new blog article on Building Windows 8 and this time the information is interesting for all users because it has the effect of improvements that Microsoft has brought to the graphics sub-system of the new operating system.
In Windows 8,Microsoft has made a series of changes that promises better performance for all Windows applications.Following an update of the platform to bring DirectX to version 11.1,software instructions from Windows 8 will provide superior performance in handling information, image, text or 3D graphics by balancing top tasks between the CPU and graphics, parallel threads are improving their performance, optimizing memory consumption and improving memory sharing.
In the article published yesterday on the blog, Microsoft presents a number of tests that emphasizes practical theoretical performance improvements.
Thus, rendering text in Metro applications will receive a performance bonus which will be between 150 and 336 percent, but the author not specified whether these improvements will be noticed and on desktop applications case.

The Touch Mouse extended for Windows 8

Microsoft introduced the support that the Touch Mouse,is a response to Apple. It will be in Windows 8, which is an example of complete multitouch software support will come with it.

Released in time of Windows 7 , Microsoft Touch Mouse has limited support for gestures due to operating system limitations, but with Windows 8, it will experience a second youth and will be an example for other producers of peripherals.
As shown in the attached table, users can use gestures made ??with one, two or three fingers, providing software support and recognition of different attacks such as Slow or rapid attainment. The list of permitted activities include running Windows 8 is displayed content, jumping between applications, zoom or display Charms.

Learn Android OS – Part 1

This new series of tutorials aims to familiarize you with the Android OS so you can write their own applications for Smartphone, and why not reach the top application on Android Market. Before starting you need to know quite well the Java programming language and object-oriented programming concepts.
Introduction – What is Android?
Android is an operating system for mobile devices (tablets and phones), based on a Linux kernel. It was initially developed by Google and later the Open Handset Alliance consortium. Android allows developers to develop applications written in Java programming language using libraries provided by SDK (Android does not provide all the class libraries and API complete the package Java SE or ME, so you can not run on Android any code written in Java ).
Android SDK includes a complete set of development tools. These include a debugger, libraries, a device emulator, documentation, etc. Development environment (IDE) is officially supported Eclipse (3.2 or later), using plug-in Android Development Tools (ADT), although you can use any text editor to edit XML files and Java and then use the tools of command line to compile/run/debug Android applications.
You can download the latest version of Eclipse from the official website for both Windows and Linux. Android SDK can be downloaded here (for Windows is recommended to use file. Exe)

Learn Android Operating System – Part 2

Hello World – First program in Android
After you have created a AVD (more details in: Learn OS Android – Part 1), you can create the first program in Android. For this you should follow these steps:
